The projects directorate’s mandate is to plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, evaluate and report on sustainable projects as carried out by the Team. This directorate is being led by Amoh Boateng, Nathaniel who has passion for positive change and capacity building thus very much interested in institutions that focus on human development. He has completed both graduate (MPhil) and undergraduate (BSc) degrees in Agricultural Economics at the University of Ghana during which he won the FINATRADE best students scholarship.
He has held national student leadership portfolios, that demanded the organization of national conferences and other herculean activities, which culminated in his experiences in project implementation. Nathaniel has served as the Projects Manager for SED consult, a multidisciplinary consultancy firm imbibing in him community action skills.
As an assiduous and dynamic personality, he also has experience in research, data collection, socio-economic and econometric analysis as well projects development and coordination. Nathaniel has led and supported data collection and analysis activities for several institutions including ACDI/VOCA, Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), Care International, International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), AVANCE, Tonys Chocolonely, and UNU-INRA. Nathaniel is highly acquainted with a number of tools such as Excel, SPSS, STATA, E-Views, Open Data Kit, Kobo Collect, PoiMapper and Epi Data which are used for both data collection, entry, and analysis.
I believe the initiation of the solutions for the Billion African problems should be done by the African. If we can have ownership for the solutions, it can be sustainable.
Wherever there is a problem, there is a solution!
