Former Managing Director of ENGEN Petroleum to speak at Role Model Africa

The second edition of the quarterly Corporate Dialogue session of Role Model Africa is scheduled for Sunday, 24th January 2016 at the African Regent Hotel, Accra-Ghana from 3pm to 6pm. The author and co-founder of Rex Oil Limited will be sharing perspectives on the theme ‘Financing the African Business’. At the event, Mr. Caleb Ayiku, the Role Model will address issues of concern in finance and business pertaining to individuals, industries, Ghana and Africa at large.

Role Model Africa is an initiative by INVENTS Foundation, a mentoring organization that focuses on raising young people as Leaders and Entrepreneurs before they turn 25.The concept is rooted in the idea that Africans can serve as their own Role models by telling their stories and mentoring younger ones. The Platform interviews African Presidents, Business Owners, Founders of Churches and African global Companies, International African leaders, African Policy and decision Makers, Influential personalities in the arts, Business Magnates, Investors and you name them. The platform seeks to engage Africans whose influence spans beyond the continent.  It is a personality interview that engages the corporate contribution of the person and a wider perspective on Africa.

An online interface is hosted on the website of INVENTS , the organizers of Role Model Africa. The platform provides structured arrangements in scheduling a mentee with a mentor and to help mentees sustaining their brands and expand their market base.

There are different mentoring opportunities in the form of One-On-One sessions, Business Mentoring Class, The Magnate Community and Mentoring Hubs.

Mr. Caleb Ayiku has developed his career in several sectors in various African countries. He has rich experience as a Chemical Engineer working for over thirteen years in downstream petroleum industry in Africa. Aside working with and rising to the position of Managing Director at Engine Petroleum with affiliates in Ghana, Tanzania and Kenya,  Mr. Ayiku also served as Country Manager for Oando Ghana Limited. As a trainer and management consultant, Caleb has trained and consulted with several blue chip companies including Barclays Bank, Citi FM, Enterprise Insurance and FEDEX.

The Convener; Mr. Samuel Agyeman-Prempeh shares that the program is opened to the general public and attracts audience from various parts of Africa. The audience is expected to be seated 30 minutes before the program commences.
